Masculine wedding card

I'm hoping that this card has reached the intended target, since it was mailed over a week ago.  I enjoyed making this one very much!  It is for a blog-friend that I admire and respect and I am filled with joy for his wedding!  The feather stamps are Close-to-My-Heart and the sentiment was PTI, I believe.  I love the shiny black chevron paper that edges the inside . . .

Days are moving faster and my to-do list is growing daily instead of getting whittled down.  What the h3ck?

Hugs!!

Thank Ewe

I just love this image of the lamb - it seems like a great one to use for Easter cards, don't you think?  I had a sweet little sentiment from another stamp designer (can't find the name) that is so old it's still a rubber stamp (I haven't bought those in a l-o-n-g time!).  But I think it's so sweet for a spring-time thank you note!

Yesterday Steve and I with about 50 of our closest friends worked our @$$'s off at church cleaning and such.  Steve and I were on the orange tree team - so we cleaned fruit off of 14 orange trees!  All but one are ornamental oranges - what a pity!  Steve has an awesome technique of shaking the tree - but we are both so sore today we can hardly move!  LOL  Hope your weekend is wonderful!  Hugs!!

Ariana papers, Dress form image

This sweet card was inspired by a tag that I saw months and months ago that had a dress form (different stamp) with tulle gathered up for a "skirt".  I have hung onto that image and when I ran across the Close-to-My-Heart stamp set that had a dress form I didn't delay in getting ink on it!  I would have used tulle but I had the most delicious ribbon (?) that I purchased at the Metal and Paper Scrappers shop up in Payson, AZ (wonderful, awesome local scrapbook store!).  They always send me home with armfuls of ribbon!  (just ask my poor husband if you don't believe me!!)

The papers are new from CTMH and are called "Ariana".  They are so pretty!  The design in the middle is actually the "zip strip" from one of the papers (I love that CTMH does that with these strips).

As of tonight only 33 days.  I knew you were sitting on pins and needles waiting to hear how long (NOT!).  I'm getting so excited!

Hugs!!
