Anniversary with Doily

To create this one, I stamped a script background in a very light gray color, then I used the same doily and let it fall off both sides of the paper. The banner and sentiment are popped up in the middle.  All CTMH products.

Anniversary card - Chelsea papers

This one uses the CTMH Chelsea papers.  I sure wish they would bring this one back!

Anniversary cards - Lanterns

This card uses a piece of paper that has script and a faint image of the Eiffel Tower in Paris.  Then I added the lanterns and sentiment.  I had a pile of wedding anniversary cards to make this month - fitting since it is June!

More Birthday cards!

I love the look of yellow, black, white and red together!  I had some scraps of red-heart polka dots, and black/white papers so a piece of Saffron cardstock and some basic white for the inside were all that I needed to pull this together after coloring the PTI watercolor card!  I did stamp the sentiment from Birthday Sparkles and added a ribbon from my stash - charcoal edged in bright red!  It's a standard A2 card so there is still room for a personal note!

Stamped lipstick??

Another of my favorite fold for cards!  This one uses an image from House Mouse - one that will forever remind me of Curtis O'Brien!  He made a lovely card with this image and made the lipstick look "messy" then wrote that it reminded him of his Mother!  Good thing she loves him!!
I colored the mice two different colors, and used glossy accents on the ink pad container after coloring it with a silver pencil.  I also made the eyes glossy.  I think this one might be my favorite card this month!

I used the new Beautiful Friendship papers and the Birthday Sparkles sentiment.  Hope you like it!

Thanks!

I am going to get back on a bicycle this summer!  I love the feeling of moving through the scenery more quickly - stopping where I want to, and getting a wee bit of exercise.  My back and knees are stronger so it's time now!!!

This card was inspired by Paru's Perceptions - I changed the bicycle, placement, and the sentiment and my card is a slightly different shape.  But she definitely inspired me!  I would link but it seems her server is not working.

My card measures 3 1/2 x 3 1/4" and uses all CTMH stamps and inks (and paper).  This size card fits into an RSVP envelope.

Be Brave, Be Bold, Be You

Again, I used the PTI coloring cards to get started.  Then I added the new sentiment "be Brave be Bold be You" from the CTMH seasonal expressions book!  I added a Birthday Sparkles sentiment to the inside (Dutch Blue ink - also retired).

I was so surprised when some of the tulips my Beloved planted opened and they had a "ruffled" petal!  I didn't remember that he planted any like that!  Isn't this pretty?!  It was basically white, but there were hints of pink in the petal and the centers were very yellow.  Lovely.

Birthday Sparkles and Sunflowers

This card started with the PTI watercolor cards - where I colored the sunflower and leaves then added the Birthday Sparkles sentiment and colored the YOU.  I used retired CTMH papers, and a bit of hand-dyed crinkle seam binding from a person selling on ETSY.  This card makes me smile!
