More Fuschia

My sweet daughter and son-in-law are celebrating their 4th Wedding Anniversary - so it called for a special card! This one used pattern paper from CTMH fundamentals (2016) - watch on August 1 for a brand new release of Fundamental patterns!  The Raspberry color paper was leftover from a CTMH paper pack this spring that is now discontinued.
I used all CTMH inks and cardstocks.

Some Retired CTMH Stamps - Halloween theme

I was inspired by a card that had a lion, a hippo, and a unicycle - and a birthday greeting.  That card was so COOL, that I had to try to find three images about the same size to stamp for my card.  I am pretty happy with this single layer card - I used Zig Clean Color Real Brush markers for coloring and had a little fun with the purple furry monster!  LOL  I'll be making this type of card again - it was fun to plan and color! You can't really tell, but the teeth of the purple guy has clear wink-of-stella on them so they sparkle in real life.  Hahahaha!

I've been preparing for my awesome friends to come visit next week.  We will be setting up in the basement (where we will all fit and won't have to clear the table for meals!).  So, I've prepared project boxes, and have packed my inks, blocks, etc. etc. etc. ad. infinitium.  (real word?)
I'm getting so excited to see them!

CTMH Fundamentals papers

I found this image un-colored.  So I made them wild daisies!  The yellow pitcher was colored to imitate Steve's yellow Fiestaware - but it wasn't until I photographed it that I saw how "neon" the yellow looks!  Yikes!  Anyway, the colors used were Derwent Inktense watercolor pencils and the Fundamentals were from the Enchantment and the Rustic Home packs. Here's the inside:
We have been so busy with baseball and other summer activities - I really haven't spent much time in the studio!  That has to change!!! I hope you are finding time to be crafty. Hugs!

More from my "discovery"

In the box with the already colored focal images, I found a tablet of papers that are called Phrase Cards - where there is a design/phrase (see the focal image on this card) and on the back of each paper there is a design paper.  The company that makes the packet is Pebbles. I'm pretty sure this was a gift a few years ago and I have no idea how they got so LOST!  So, the desktop being visible, I set to creating something with them.  Two cards emerged.

The second one is my favorite - I think I just loved the "floral wreath" and sentiment!  I fussy cut it out of the rectangle to allow more of the design papers to show up.  All together these two cards only took me about 20 minutes to make.  Wow!  I could get used to that!

Live Simply, Love much

This image is another find in the "use this someday basket".  I made it into a simple card for a birthday using the CTMH Birthday Sparkles stamp set, a piece of Ruby Fundamentals design paper and a scrap of black gingham ribbon.  I think they should bring gingham ribbon back.

Thinking of You

I found a little stash of images that I had colored and set aside . . . so it's my lucky day!  I finished this one off with Kraft mat, a simple sentiment, a scrap of small ribbon, all mounted over/around a piece of Thistle Fundamentals paper from CTMH.  It's really easy when the main piece is already done!  LOL

No Worries - CTMH Seasonal Expressions May - August 2017

I was very inspired to make this card by another CTMH Consultant - who also doesn't watermark her photos.  If you know who made a card like this one let me know so I can give proper credit!

I did change a few things.  I used a Desert Sand cardstock for the base card, and used some different scraps for some of the graduated flags.  My signpost is different - I stamped one of the sentiments from the No Worries card making kit 2017 onto one of the sign posts on the index cards included in the paper pack.  I added an inside of beach sand and a retirement sentiment.  I hope that makes is qualify for an imitated card, not a stolen one!  LOL

So, I really bought this set to use for scrapping our Hawaii adventures.  I love the sand, chair, umbrella, and starfish (not that I saw many of those).  The umbrella drink is cute, too!  We did enjoy a few Pina Coladas!
