Bilbo had a pretty rough trip to our summer home. Once we finally arrived at the house, and opened his travel case, he disappeared behind the washer in the basement and wouldn't come out!
On the 5th day, Steve suggested that I try moving Bilbo's dish of kibble up the stairs a few steps at a time.
He came up the stairs easily, stopped next to me and sat down next to me on a step for a few minutes, then continued up the stairs and into the dining room.
And he never looked back! :-D
That night he joined us in bed and has pretty much made himself comfortable! Whew!

Oh goodness, what a lovely picture story about Mr. Baggins. So glad he got through this big change in his life. Ummmm, the fact that you are at your summer home must mean that you also have gone through a huge change in your life as well. Congratulations! I hope you are as comfortable in your new situation as your gorgeous kitty is! Big hugs!

Just finished house sitting for my daughter and family while they and their 5 dogs when to the beach. I had the 3 cats and yours reminds me of one of them. They are so unique with great personalities.
Aren't cats funny! so glad he feels at home now!
