I bought 4 COPICS!

I realize that buying any Copic markers is a slippery slope (LOL) but I really love the way people shadow their images with them.  I bought 4 of the lighter ones that were "bundled" as shadowing ones.  This card was inspired by Julia AstonI colored with Close-to-My-Heart inks and a water brush, then after it was dry, used the copic to shadow.  The images are from Lovely Shelf by Nina Brackett.  I also used a touch of liquid glass on the middle vase.

Hope you are having a good week!

Namaste.

First, drop-dead GORGEOUS card. You outdid yourself with the water brush, and the shading is perfect.

Next, I love flowers and pots and vases. Is that a stamp or stamps? I NEED to know. LOL.

I have a Copic "wish list." Nice and neat, sorted by color families. It's long. I need to win the lottery. Were I to get a second job, I'd have no time to color. LOL. One of these days ...

Have a great Thursday, Sharli!

I didn't know they sold Copics in a shadowing set. That's cool! Your card is gorgeous! Gorgeous, I tell you!

No Copics in the budget for me, but I sure enjoy seeing others, like you, use them well.

Uh, oh, you're in BIG trouble now! Once you start using Copic markers, you want 'em all. Admit it; you already do want more, dontcha?!? LOL, they are a wonderful, albeit expensive, tool.

Now, the card is fab-YOU-lous, Sharli! The shading is beautiful ... so neat and perfect! Love how you drew that border around the perimeter of the card ... and those flowers look fab!!

Dang, forgot to ask: Where did you find the bundled Copics??

I LOVE this card, Sharli!

I only own 5 copics.. 1 skin colored , 1 shadowed, 1 dark brown, 1 other brownish one, and a blender pen. It's an evil slippery slope. Too dang many colors to choose from. HOWEVER, I DO LOVE my grey shadow marker. I use it even when I use only stamps and ink or stamps and colored pencils. no colored pencils make shadows as nicely. :)

Inky SMILES!

Absolutely adorable card. The Copics are a slippery slope. One day 4, the next day 104. Watch out!

Fun stuff, and beautiful job with your coloring and shading. Nice touch with the Liquid Glass too. ;) Copics aren't even on my Wish List (not wanting to slide down that slope...not that it wouldn't be fun -they're just not in the budget so don't even want to get started). Pretty card.
