This card was inspired by Jane Haas. A friend's DD called and needed a gift certificate for her Mom for Mother's Day and this card came to mind immediately! It's a little big (6 x 8 inches) I should have used I template! I didn't have an envelope big enough for it!!! So, word to the wise . . .
Happy Mother's Day to everyone who is a Mom, has a Mom, or wants to be a Mom!
I love this card, too! Your colors are so bright and fun.I made one and should make more since I got the hang of it, and people love 'em. Even if you use a template for the pot though, it's tricky making it so it fits into an A2 envelope.
Sharli, I love your Chihuly glass sculpture banner! We got to see these when the exhibit was at the MO Botanical Gardens last year--just gorgeous. Beautiful card & thanks for mentioning & linking to mine that inspired you...Jennifer (noted on my blog) originally inspired me. Each one is very unique! I enjoyed browsing your blog--happy scrapping!
My banner photo is from the Chihuly glass exhibit at the Desert Botanical Gardens in Phoenix, AZ. My daughter and I visited there on her trip home February 2009 and took some beautiful photographs. We both loved this boat load of glass!
I'm a child of God, a wife, mom, friend, scrapbooker and stamper. In addition to my beloved husband, I love yoga, Bilbo (my cat), playing in my studio, and puttering in the garden. I am looking forward to spending time with grandchildren!

Love it.
