What a difficult weekend. I think I've decided on a car - but there aren't any in the State of Arizona. I missed an important commitment last night simply because we planned it over a month ago - put it on the calendar and forgot to turn the calendar over Saturday morning (I'm feeling really terrible about that one!) and woke up today because my A/C was making strange noises. No cooling.
I won't ask, because I do know it COULD be worse. I'm just trying to keep breathing. It will all work out - the sun rises again tomorrow. Needless to say - nothing creative going on here.

Sharli, it sounds like you need a hug. I hope the thoughts of a new car and a new idea book and hopefully a minor AC repair will have your spirits up in no time.
I have totally done that with the calendar too!! Some days are definitely better than others huh?? Hugs to you:-)
Hi Sharli, heres to wishing you a minor repair&bill on the AC. I wanted to say thanks for your visits to my blog, comments always make me smile. The picture of my son by the MJ star is the son that likes his picture taken, hes also the one taking the photo class. Now go treat yourself to a peach shake (that sounds delish) =o)
Hi Sharli
Here's a hug from me too.
I have a strange philosophy on troubles, if we don't have bad times then we might not truly appreciate the good times! Last week I even read that Pope Bendedict XVI said about his broken wrist that maybe God was using it as a message to slow down and spend more time in contemplation and prayer. We don't always see things the way God does, but somehow our trials and tribulations make us stronger in the long run and if nothing else more appreciative of our blessings.
Lots of love,
Sheri
Can you handle another cyber hug? I'm anxious to hear about the vehicle you have in mind. I hope that if there isn't one in Arizona, there is one somewhere else for you.
I'm sure the missed commitment is bumming you out. I'm with you in not being able to hold things like that in my head for long periods of time. I'm certain anyone who knows you realizes that you wouldn't "skip" anything important. Be kind to yourself, friend.
Lastly, I hope there isn't anything seriously wrong with your air conditioning system. It's had to work hard this summer ... unlike mine which hasn't been turned on very many times. According to weather.com, it's 108 in Mesa. It's 63 here. Were we to average those two temperatures, we'd have a very manageable 85 degrees. Wish I could help you out!!
